Welcome to Alchemy & Apothecary, a Cornwall-based mobile cocktail bar and mixology experience dedicated to creating exceptional drinks and unforgettable occasions.
I’m Curt, the founder of Alchemy & Apothecary. My passion for cocktails goes far beyond simply mixing spirits and serving drinks. I love exploring the art and science of mixology, experimenting with fresh fruits, herbs, botanicals and unusual flavour combinations to create cocktails that are as exciting to taste as they are beautiful to look at.
Inspired by traditional apothecary practices and modern bartending techniques, we bring creativity, craftsmanship and a little theatrical flair to everything we do.

Living and working in Cornwall has shaped the way we approach our craft. We’re passionate about supporting local producers, working with seasonal ingredients and finding more sustainable ways to operate our mobile cocktail bar business.
Wherever possible, we incorporate locally sourced produce, fresh ingredients and thoughtful practices into our drinks and services. We believe exceptional cocktails shouldn’t just taste incredible — they should reflect the people, places and ingredients behind them.

Cocktails for Every Occasion
Because our services are customisable, you can simply hand-select your
choice of beverages, or raw ingredients, and leave the rest to us.
Weddings
We will cater a bar for your dream wedding, including staffing it, and manning it. We can supply cocktails, as well as beer, wine, spirits, and more. We will also arrange a private meet and greet with you to discuss a bespoke bar experience for your guests.
Garden Parties & Hen Parties
We will happily cater for your hen’s party to make it a memorable, one-of-a-kind celebration. We also cater for garden parties, including summer BBQ’s, birthday parties, personal events, and more.
Mixology Masterclass
Be enchanted by an alchemical masterclass where you can learn to craft your own premium cocktails in the comfort of your own home. Choose from three unique experiences.
Corporate Events
Alchemy & Apothecary has the know-how and experience to cater the drinks for your next team building, team event, or staff party.
Cocktail Menus
In collaboration with you, we will craft a bespoke cocktail menu to suit your taste, or what would pair well with the food served. This service is available for private functions, public events, bars, and restaurants.
Private Freelance Bartending
If a restaurant, bar, or company is in need of an experienced agency bartender, we are able to assist.

How does delivery work?
Our takeaway cocktails are available for local delivery to neighbouring villages or posted across the UK via Royal Mail. Please allow up to 3 business days for cocktails to arrive. Postage will be charged according to the amount of cocktails chosen and the date and time an order is placed.

Friendly, well organised and amazing cocktails
Curtis was fantastic. Super responsive, friendly and reasonably priced. The mixology masterclass experience was great and the cocktails tasted so good. Looking forward to booking Alchemy and Apothecary again in the future.

Unbelievable Cocktails, Wonderful People
Curtis and Lucy are wonderful! Their cocktails are out of this world, and went down an absolute treat at our wedding. Alchemy and Apothecary ran a cocktail bar at our wedding with 130 people. In the run up, they were super communicative, taking us through the different options for running the bar, and beyond (e.g. offering welcome drinks). They even sent us samples, which were delicious. On the day, the team were friendly, professional and really contributed the how special the event was.
